TAHLIL, DOA ARWAH FOR ALLAHYARHAM AWANG TAMBRIN BIN IBRAHIM

IN THE spirit of Ramadhan, Religious Affairs Bureau, will organise a recition of a "Tahlil and Doa Arwah" for Allahyarham Awang Tambrin bin Ibrahim (former Vice President of BERSATU, PY1985, NL1992) at the Damuan Muslim cemetery in Kampung Telanai.This activitity is a part of the bureau's annual programmes and activities during the month of Ramadhan.
This event will be held on 23rd September 2008 (Tuesday). Members of SSEAYP International Brunei dan ex-PYS are cordially invited to join this activity (p/s: Members are required to assemble at 3.00 p.m at the Damuan Recreational Park).
Besides that the Religious Affairs Bureau will also conduct a "Majlis Tahlil and Doa Arwah" and also "Doa Kesyukuran SSEAYP 2008" for the safe journey of SSEAYP 2008. The event collaborated with the Brunei Darussalam Contingent to SSEAYP 2008 to carry out mass Maghrib prayers and brea king thefast at the Games Village of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Sports Complex on 21st September 2008. The event scheduled to be commence at 5.30pm (soon the Guest of Honour arrived).
On a personal note, the Chief of Religious Affairs Bureau said the ex-PYS can benefit in the month of Ramadhan by giving to charity, which he said does not necessarily mean giving money. "The most important thing in giving charity is one has to be sincere," he said.
In this context any individuals intend to bring food for the Majlis are greatly welcome.
By having this event, it was aimed at encouraging new PYS to appreciate BERSATU and the special benefits or fadhilat in the fasting month. And foremost, we pray for the safe journey of the upcoming SSEAY programme...

please be informed that BERSATU will be officially opening its Secretariat Office in conjunction with SSEAYP 2008 Port of Call to Brunei.
BERSATU again will be responsible in coordinating the Homestay programme for SSEAYP 2008. All xpys are welcome to come and assist with the preparations. Venue and date are as follows:

Venue: BERSATU Headquarters, Anggerek
The Homestay programme will be from 7th - 9th November, with the Homestay Matching scheduled to take place on Friday 7th November from 11am -12pm at Indoor Stadium, Berakas.

18 Ogos 2008 - Bersatu Nite for BPY08 telah diadakan di 'Dolphin Hall' Pusat Belia yang bermula pada pukul 8.00 malam.. Beberapa taklimat telah disampaikan dan sesi berkongsi pengalaman bersama BPY08 telah diadakan. Taklimat awal telah disampaikan oleh Tuan Ahanapi bin Hj Mahadi (BERSATU) manakala taklimat kedua telah disampaikan oleh Chris 07 & Tasya 07 bagi mengongsikan pengalaman dan panduan bagi BPY08.. Sebelum mengakhiri, seperti biasa sesi bergambar ramai... Sungguh seronok malam itu.. macam reunion jua.. hehehe anyway Good Luck BPY08!!
