JAPANESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL WEEK

Just to inform, the Language Centre of Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam organising the Japanese Language and Culture Week at Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam from Wed 12 - Sat 15th March 2008.

Admission Free. pls come and visit the exhibition..learn more about Japan and experience Japanese culture through exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops.

16 booths will introduce the following aspects of Japanese Language and culture as follows: ----General Information

-Calligraphy
-Tea ceremony

-Ikebana

12 March (Wed)
2.30 pm ~ 5.00 pm - Koto Performance (Traditional Japanese Stringed Instrument) Kendo, Karate, Aikido Demonstration, Tea> Ceremony, Calligraphy

13th March (Thurs)
3.00 pm - Koto Workshop

14th March (Fri)
2.30 pm - Origami Workshop
3.30 pm - Bonodari (Japanese Festival Dance) wkshp

15th March (Sat)
3.00 pm - Fish Cutting and Sushi Making Demonstration
