OBJECTIVES OF SIGA (SSEAYP INTERNATIONAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY) -To create an opportunity for the reunion of former participants (PYs & NLs) to promote lasting friendship, understanding and goodwill
-To exchange information on activities of respective Alumni Associations and the Secretariat of SSEAYP International
-To enhance the network of cooperation among former participants through opportunities in various social and business undertakings

1988 - 20th Anniversary
1993 - 15th Anniversary
1998 - 10th Anniversary
2003 - 5th Anniversary
And all other batches who would like to observe their Batch Anniversary during SIGA 2008...
Workshops, plenary sessions and activities will be staged BEYOND THE USUAL through fresh and fun approaches…
Host Families will, for the first time, be actively involved and presenting BEYOND THE USUAL projects and activities…
Participants will discover BEYOND THE USUAL linkages and networking opportunities…

MEALS
All meals from May 1 to 4, 2008 (throughout the conference period)
Late comers on May 1, 2008 will be provided with packed dinner / dinner coupons
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation will be provided for all SIGA itineraries, including airport transfer

HOMESTAY
Our sincere apologies, due to logistical limitations, we cannot offer Homestay after May 4, 2008
TOUR PACKAGES
Various tour packages before and after the conference may be organized for willing travelers. Secretariat Committee will post the tour packages very soon.
INSURANCE
All participants are advised to obtain the necessary insurance during the entire stay in Cebu City
VISA
All nationalities (Japan & Asean) need not apply for a travel visa to enter the Philippines
IMPORTANT NOTICES
1) No Homestay during the duration of SIGA 2008 Cebu (May 1 – 4, 2008)
2) We will not accept any walk-in registration during the duration of SIGA 2008 Cebu
3) No selective participation, we strongly encourage everyone to attend all SIGA 2008 Cebu Activities & Itineraries
4) If anyone decide to attend only selected activities, he/she will be charged the full registration fee of USD 195.00
